Bartlett Press is John McLellan who, for over 35 years, has been creating materials
for instrumental music students from the beginner's sounds through 8th Grade specializing
in ways to help individualize the band room experience. Bartlett Press works to incentivize
practice by making progress more visible to the student, showing individuals that hard work
pays off through a virtual climb through the Levels Program. Each exercise is supported by
SmartMusic to allow for direct teacher feedback personalizing the instruction for each
individual. Bartlett Press also provides a series of music for full concert band as well
as chamber works for fun and advancement.
